Disneyland March 2008 Trip

Jeff, Matt and I went to Knott's Berry Farm Coaster Solace in early March, 2008. While in Southern California we spent the day at Disneyland. While the main purpose of our Disneyland visit was for business, to shoot "Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage" we ended up staying from opening to close at Midnight.

Ok this photo is not from 2008, but from 1985. My first park besides Worlds of Fun was Disneyland, my mom took me when I was eight years old during the park's 30th anniversary.

Same place, same person 22 years later. Going back to where it all started.

The reason we were all here, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. This ride literally came back from the dead, as it originally operated as the Submarine Voyage from 1959 to 1998.

One of two (identical) original TWA rocketships. There were two originally built by TWA, one located at the top of the TWA building in Kansas City, MO (re-introduced a few years ago) and the second at Disneyland.

A monument to the man, Walt Disney.

Jeff and I in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle (aka the Putt-Putt castle) .

I've always preferred Disneyland over Magic Kingdom in Florida for these small details that are missing in Florida. This is in Adventureland.

No Disney Magic Kingdom park would be complete without a steam train.
